thunderbolt device UID

Intel Thunderbolt drivers used to ship with CiM classes enabling me to run the following command in powershell:

Get-CimInstance -Namespace root/intel/thunderbolt -ClassName device

Unfortunately, this no longer works with the latest Thunderbolt drivers, and instead returns the error "Invalid namespace". Can these CiM classes be installed separately? or is this information available another way?

The information I'm most interested in is the Device UUID, however Vendor and Model would also be useful.

Thanks in advance

Hello @Chris32 ,

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

We want to address the following questions to understand this situation:

Could you please clarify if this request is related to a design developed by you, or is a device developed by a third-party company?

Could you please let us know the name of the manufacturer, the part number, and where we can find the information if this request is related to a third-party design?

What is the processor related to the design associated with your request?

However, your Thunderbolt consultations should be addressed through the channels listed as a reference on the following website:

Best regards,

Hi @Diego_INTEL

My question relates to the Intel Thunderbolt Drivers rather than a particular device.

Thank you for the thunderbolt contact details, I will reach out to the team using the contact form.

Thanks,

Chris
