Performance problem with a Skia application

We use two different Intel CPUs. On the system with an Intel Atom E3940 / 8 GB RAM and a Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, the application runs as expected. If we run it on an Intel Celeron 3965U / 8GB RAM and a Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, the processor load increases to 50%. It is assumed that the CPU is not being utilised on the Celeron system. How can you see if the support is really running or being used? The application is opened in a Microsoft Edge > V120.xxx.

I would be grateful if you could help me find out where else I can look to solve the problem.

With kind regards

Jens

Hello @Haase_J,

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

Just to let you know, Apollo Lake and Kaby Lake are not being actively supported anymore.

I was looking internally but we don't have much information regarding Skia.

Looking at the processors, one is 4 cores and the other one 2, it may be influencing in the load as you are seeing it. I think you may try checking in the Task Manager the CPU performance and compare when you run the application if there is any change.

Also, as you are running it in Edge, you may try using another browser to check if there is any difference for good.

Best regards,
