Which one to select Intel i7-13700TE or i9-12900TE or i9-13900TE?

Which CPU is to select between next three: Intel i7-13700TE or i9-12900TE or i9-13900TE? Which one is more reliable and better performer between them? Runing MatLab application and around four instances of VLC player on the computer at the same time.

In my opinion, the three options are excellent, you may consider the price, maybe you don't need all the best for normal usage and an i7 would perform great too.

Maybe you can consider to save a little bit in the processor to buy good RAM and a SSD, these components can affect the performance of the applications too.

I would like to select the best performer between these three CPUs. Actually, I think between i9-12900TE or i9-13900TE. I found in some benchmark that i9-12900TE perform better than i9-13900TE. I'm not sure if I can rely on this information. Could you please suggest the CPU between i9-12900TE and i9-13900TE?

Checking the specifications between both, the i9-13900TE seems better.

These Benchmark tests may not be accurate, and may depend on the overall configuration, I find strange that there is so much difference between both.

Usually, we are mentioned that newer processors are upgrades between past years, and the obvious thing is they should be better, in the specifications at least, the 13900TE seems better, unfortunately I can't test these versions by myself, but for your purposes both are great.

In my opinion, I would go with the 13900TE because it is newer (also, you may check Meteor Lake processors too, they have a good upgrade in the graphics part) but if the benchmark results may be important to you, maybe it will make you happy to have what it gets better numbers overall, so the 12900TE, but I find it strange that much difference.
