HI, thanks for your reply. It is a laptop. HP Envy x360. i7, Windows 10.
The real problem identified is that all the usb ports are not working. No drivers in the device manager. I tried MediaCreationTool and it did not solve the issue.
How do I get all the usb drivers reinstalled without loosing my data in the laptop? Can't backup as no cd and usb drivers do not work.

Thank you for the details about the issue that you are having, the USB driver of the system are provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)in your case HP, you can try completing the OEM drivers updates; you can also try completing the Windows® 10 updates on the system. in case you need assistance with any of those updates you can refer to HP support and Microsoft support.
