Xeon 1539 Orcad schematic symbol

I am looking for Schematic symbol for Intel Xeon 1539.

I gone through RDC document file 544667 but the schematic symbol available is VHDL file which does not come up with pin / ball number of the package when generating part in cadence capture tools.

Also, the nets coming in a group for example bus BPN[7:0] coming as a single row instead of separate pin number wise.

See attachment.

Please advice how i can get the orcad schematic symbol.

Hello @RSHAR3,

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

The processor D-1539 is out of support now.

But I tried searching for it and it seems there is no schematic symbol. You must refer to the EDS and PDG and create it.

Best regards,

Thanks for the information.

We are developing single board computer on the VPX platform. Could you please advise the suitable alternative of the similar Xeon series for which support is available for alteast next 5 years.

Hello @RSHAR3,

That's a good question. I talked with a coworker that has more experience in server products and he thinks that may be better to consider designing with the newer products like the Sapphire Rapids. Here is a Xeon roadmap that may help to have an idea.

There will be support for the newer processors from the Intel® Xeon® Ice Lake and Intel® Xeon® D families for 5 more years at least, specifically the ones that were released from 2021 and 2022, but considering at this moment, he thinks that may be better to go with the processors from the family Sapphire Rapids.

I hope this helps.

That is great, and yes, the support should be available for at least the next 5 years for the Intel® Xeon® D-1746TER Processor.

I have sent an email to the address associated to your account regarding the OrCAD schematic symbol.

Best regards,
