Hi Team,
we are using intel e810 mac in our custom board which is running on architecture arm64 , do we have any idea about below queries.
Required Ethernet Configuration : 2 x25G
1. Can we flash the firmware(spi flash) of e810 externally using external spi flasher ?
2. If answer to question 1 is yes , which is the binary we need to use ,can you share the link or the file for the same ?
3. Is there any offset on flashing the spi flash or we can start from address 0x00 ?
4. As we are using custom board , we have our own methods to flash the spi , so will flashing the spi alone will boots up the e810 mac system with full functionalty ? If no can you tell us what is the steps we need to do to bootup ?

- Confirmation regarding whether the E810 is compatible with the custom board.
- The complete model of the Ethernet controller you are utilizing.

Hi Dinesh,
Responses from our end ,for the Questions.
1. SF-100
2. We have tried validating the E810 intel NIC card(E810-XXVDA2 - Module, E810XXVDA2, Intel Ethernet Network Adapter E810-XXVDA2, PCIe 4.0 x8, 13.7 W, 167 mm x 68 mm) with Ampere Altra Max and we got it funcational.
3. E810-XXVAM2
We wanted to know if we are using network controller as standalone, how we should flash E810.
We wanted to know informatons like -
1.Which is the firmware we need to flash in the spi for the below configuration ?
2.will flashing the spi alone will boots up the e810 mac system with full functionalty ?
3.Is there any offset for flashing the firmware if we are using SF-100 ?
4.After flashing the firmware for E810 will it be fully functional, like will it have NC-SI and other fuctionalities enabled by default ?
