Good morning everyone,

for some time (never had this problem before) when starting the win11 system (ONLY at the first request) the connection to the disk x: on the Qnap TS 212P Nas is not available, all the applications that refer to this do not find the path, if I click on the connection again everything starts working again until the new restart.

Attached is what was detected and the list of related errors from the event log.

SFC scannow does not detect errors. If from the command prompt I try to access x: before clicking at least once on the connection the disk is not available (then everything works until cmd)

From cmd can I replicate what the system does when you click on a connection? (Explorer x: does not work, the first time then....)

PC: Lenovo 30FM000YIX - i5-12600K

Thanks for your attention.

Hi Grillobirillo,

To further assist you with this, I have some questions for clarification:

  1. Can you confirm to me that this is the device you are currently using, TS-212P?
  2. Are you having connection issue with this device?
  3. Lastly, are you connected to this device via cable or wirelessly?

Best regards,

Dhanniel M.

dear Dhanniel,
I can confirm that I regularly use the NAS TS-212
never had problems with the connection with the NAS,

the connection is via cable.

Repeat: only at the first request it does not work, then everything is ok!

Thanks

Hi Grillobirillo,

Thank you for this information. There are some follow up questions that I would like to ask:

  1. Since you mentioned that you are having connection via a cable, can you confirm if you are using a Type C Thunderbolt™ 4 cable?
  2. Have you tried contacting Lenovo and/or QNAP for this issue?
  3. Also is your system has a Thunderbolt™ 4 port?

Best regards,

dear Dhanniel,
the cable I use is the classic RJ45 cat. VI
I have never contacted Levnovo or Qnap, because I think the problem arose after the Intel drivers update (Ethernet: Ver. 12.19.2.60)
My system does not have a Thunderbolt port -
A question: does the ESIF 1.0.70701.24404 error come from Intel drivers or something else?

Grazie

hi Devi,
thanks for your interest, I contacted Lenovo as your suggestion, which checked if all the drivers are updated and then advised me to do a bios downgrade.

Unfortunately even after doing what was advised the problem persists.....
Thanks

Kindly help us with the internet advertisement model?

If possible, could you please provide the front and back pictures of the adapter?

And where you downloaded the driver (Ethernet: Ver. 12.19.2.60) and please share the link?
