I am observing an interrupt storm when trying to create VFs on the Intel X550 NIC (seeing more than 50k interrupts on eth0 when I create the VFs).
For reference:
- SR-IOV is enabled.
- Using the upstream IXGBE and IXGBEVF driver: https://elixir.bootlin.com/linux/v6.6.63/source/drivers/net/ethernet/intel
- The host OS is based on RT Linux (https://wiki.linuxfoundation.org/realtime/start).
Do we know if this is a known issue on real-time kernels?
