Looking for X540-T1 Windows 10 Driver

My distributor listed this 10Gb NIC as PC compatible. Windows 10 does not even acknowledge the card.

I downloaded the ProWinx64.exe but the adapter does not show up in the device manager.

Interesting fact: the 10gb switch lights up as if the adapter is working and data is received.

The onboard adapter is an Intel i217-v running at 1Gb. If I unplug the 10gb cable attached to the X540-T1 I get no network connection.

If I unplug the i217-v, I still get data flowing through the X540-T1.

when you unplug the i217-v, the X540-T1 shows up in device manager? Have you tried installing the X540-T1 on another windows 10 system or plug in to different ports in the 10Gb switch for further isolation?please run the system support utility and attached the output file in the community thread. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utilitythe output file will help provide additional information of your system such as network adapter installed, settings.kindly share your 10Gb switch brand and information as well.thanks,Vince
