We are short this component.  I think the highlighted parameters are drop-in with out changing the firmware but I need confirmation. Do we need to recompile if the size of the device is changed and also the operating temperature changed?

Please confirm that if we are supposed to recompile the program because of changing 144 to 256 and Operating temperature

Hi Mangala,

It is NOT required to recompile the programming file in following cases:

1) The two devices have same package and pin count and the design pins are allocated such that they have same functionality, meaning an IO should not be a power or GND pin.

2) While changing between devices with different temperature grade and/or speed grade. However, for moving from faster to slower speed grades, it is good to check the timing of the design before migrating.

Hope this helps.
