Applying Power to the Development Kit

I want to operate the Stratix® 10 MX FPGA as a PCIe* system inserting the card into an available PCIe* slot. Still a power supply of the desktop is insufficient to power the card. Can we connect an external power supply to J11 while the card is inserted into  PCIe* slot?

Thanks for the pointer. It says to power the card from the system, i.e. the desktop power supply. Still can I power the card by external 240V power supply?

Like it says, you always need to have the external supply connected, whether as a PCIe card or bench top.

Hello,

As per user 'sstrell' mentioned on the previous comment. It can be accepted. You will need an external power supply for this device.

Best regards,
