Configuring FMC Plus C2M pins to be inputs instead of outputs

Hello, I am using the Terasic Agilex SOM right now. I want to connect an external signal to the FPGA through the FMC plus connector. There were signals named FMCP_DP_C2M which were strictly outputs. Can I configure these signals to be outputs coming from the FPGA, or I can't because they are tightly coupled to a transmitter/receiver in the hardware?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out Intel FPGA Community.

From your question, I am looking into Terasic documentation of the board and identify the pins name of the signal on the FPGA.

After going through the pinout file of Agilex 7 and found out that all the pins are associated as transmitter pins in the hardware. Refer to the pin description of GXP[L10A,L10C]_TX_CH[15:0][p,n].
