arria 10 gx doesn't boot properly (D16 - Error LED illuminated)

Hi, I purchased the Arria® 10 FPGA Development Kit a few months ago and am currently having issues with that board. [ S/N: 10APCIe0004630 ]

I didn't use the board for a few months after I saw Quick guide right after the board came and successfully uploaded the flash file to BoardUpdateportal.

After that, when I connected the power and turned on sw1 to use the current board, D15 (load led) turns on for a few seconds and then D16 (error led) turns on, and booting does not work properly.

I think a flash fail occurred, so I tried factory restore with BTS, but even that, an error occurred like the image attached below.

Strangely, when I tested the .sof file on BTS, it worked normally, but when I turned it off again, the error LED turned on the same way.

Also, when I tried to upload .sof files or .pof files to the FPGA with the Quartus programmer, I didn't get any error messages, but likewise, it kept booting up normally. (Error led on)

Attached is the error led status image of the log and board that occurred in the bts and programmer below.

Note: quartus version is pro 22.4 and usb cable is installed.

Hi personal777,

안녕하세요, 답변이 늦어져서 죄송합니다. Could you please try the following steps?

  • Instead of launching the JAVA command, use the BTS GUI directly.
  • Avoid turning off the clock GUI setting. Simply input the desired clock frequency in the clock GUI software and click the "Set" button.
  • Leave the clock GUI software as it is after setting the frequency.

Let me know how it goes!
