So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

[Maybe Windows 12 will be better]

Hello dongfe,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to better assist you, please provide the following information:

  • If possible, please provide a screenshot of how the game looks without the lighting bug when using driver version 3222.
  • Did the issue start after any driver/OS update?

As well, please try a clean installation of the latest driver version 31.0.101.3430/31.0.101.2111 (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html) and of the drivers provided by the OEM if available. Make sure to follow the instructions below.

After the Battlefield 2042 is updated to version 2.1, except for versions above 3490, when the game enters the map
DirectX function "g_dx12Renderer->createComputePipelineState(
&pipelineStateDesc, FB_IID_PPV_ARGS(&pipelineState))" failed
with E_INVALIDARG ("An invalid parameter was passed to the
returning function."). GPU:"Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics", Driver:
31.0.101.3430

Thank you for the information provided.

By any chance, are you able to provide the screenshot of how the game looks without the lighting bug?

As well, were you able to perform the clean installation of the latest drivers? If so, what was the outcome?

Best regards,

No, the light error occurs when the new map of Battlefield 2042 is stranded and the driver 3490 is running. After the Battlefield 2042 is updated to version 2.1, except for the 3490 driver, the game will exit automatically when the following contents appear when the drivers of other versions enter the game.
