Hello there,
Recently i bought a new System including an ASRock Challenger b580 Graphics Card. My Other Specs are:
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M D3HP AX Micro ATX AM5 MB
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7600f
RAM: Corasair Vengeance 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL3
PSU: be quiet! System Power 10 650W 80+ Bronze
Screen1: Dell G2725D 27" 1440p 180Hz
Screen2: Samsung Syncmaster S24B350H 24" 1080p
I installed the Intel Drivers according to this https://dgpu-docs.intel.com/driver/client/overview.html Documentation (for Ubuntu 24.10). When i start the PC with screen 1 connected (Displayport) everything works fine. As soon as i plug in screen 2 (Displayport2), the screen 1 starts freezing heavily every few seconds. While it is frozen i cannot move the cursour or do anything else. The screen 2 stays black. This also happens when i plug in both screens from before booting.
Sidenote: My Ubuntu 24.10 uses the Kernel 6.11 and not the Kernel 6.12 which is specified in the Documentation. I also tried CachyOS, which runs on Kernel 6.12, but the freezing continued.
Any help is apreciated!
Enzo

Hello Enzo4,
I understand that you're having issues setting up multiple displays. Please share the information below for me to address this correctly.
1. Have you contacted Linux about the issue?
2. Have you tried different display cables?
3. Is the second monitor known to be working?
4. What is the full model of your monitors?
Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - Intel® System Support Utility for the Linux* Operating System
I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
