I have an Asus P5B-V motherboard with the G965 chipset. Occasionally, when the screen content changes I get a black screen for 1 or 2 seconds before it returns to normal. More recently I have had a couple of Intel video driver crashes also.
Does anyone else have this issue or know what's the cause?
ashasI am running Windows XP sp3 with GMA driver version 6.14.10.5016.

Hi there!
Screen flickering has been reported previously with the latest graphics drivers, see here for release notes information

I highly recommend getting customized drivers from your computer manufacturer.
Thanks.
Allan.

Thanks for your reply.
I wouldn't describe my issue as 'flickering'. The screen blacks out for a second or two. This only occurs occasionally (maybe a few times an hour), usually when something has been clicked that requires a re-draw of the screen. Most often this is whilst playing the Hearts or Freecell games.
