Yesterday, my laptop was updated by the Windows Update, when I got up today morning, I can't any program related to direct x, then I found that my laptop can't recognize my Intel graphic adapter, so I tried to re-install it.

I tried everything I found on the internet, like Intel Driver Update Utility, AlienRespawn etc.All failed.I don't want to re-install my windows system, what can I do?

I downloaded the drivers from the Intel support center and it said create ICCS service fail. And still my computer can't recognize the graphic adapter.

Hello GuGu,

Based on your description, this issue could have been caused by a windows update.

I recommend you uninstalling the graphics driver and installing the latest one from your Computer Manufacture. In the case the driver from the Computer Manufacture is not working you can try our generic driver.

Here you have the download link:

If during the installation of the driver you find problems, try the steps mentioned here:

/docs/DOC-22542 https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-22542

Another step you can try is running a windows system restore to a previous point when the computer was working fine. This could do the trick.
