Is possible to use canon camera for mapping while scanning face with intel realsense depth camera

Dear intel producer

I would like to say Iam so appriciated to your products.

We're using sr305 for mapping and scanning face. But texture quality is not enough for us.

I need 5000 pixel resolution. Cuz of that is there any api to use with any camera like canon, sony etc.

We will use depth camera for scanning another camera for mapping.

Thank you in advance 🙂

I would suggest to ask your question also in RealSense Support Community: https://support.intelrealsense.com/hc/en-us/community/topics I believe that in this forum you will get better response for your question.

Hi ekaya, i am also doing this right now 🙂 unfortunately there is very little information about using this kind of technology for facial scans and tracking right now so we are trailblazers. If you give me your email we can exchange notes on what we figure out and maybe help each other.

I had the same question and really want to find a way to use depth cameras to generate tie points for cheap photogrammetry rigs that would theoretically require much less cameras to derive the depth maps for high resolution wrinkle and texture maps.
