Dear Intel Support and forum viewers,
I’m reaching out to report an issue I’ve been facing with my Intel Arc A750 GPU in Roblox, particularly in the game Blox Fruits (the actual end-game PvP part). Despite having a high-performance system, I am experiencing significantly lower FPS than I am supposed to be having, and the performance is much worse compared to similar or even far more lower-end builds.
Here’s a breakdown of the issue:
- My system contains the Intel Arc A750 GPU and a Ryzen 7 5700 processor (new parts, good benchmark scores). I’ve overclocked the CPU and tried adjusting my GPU settings extensively, but I am still not achieving any normal performance in Blox Fruits (60-130 FPS while barely doing anything).
- Significantly worse builds, such as my friend's system with a GTX 1650 and a Ryzen 5 5500 CPU, are achieving an average FPS of 40+ in the same server and moment, while my system struggles to reach similar performance (even in private servers). Adjusting the in-game Roblox Graphics doesn't seem to matter, it just goes for the same FPS and slightly lowers/highest GPU/CPU usage, however it always "strives" for the same FPS.
- Despite optimizations, GPU usage in MSI Afterburner stays very low (around 32%) and adjusting things like Task Manager priority, CPU affinity, power options, downgrading Windows, and many other optimizations, I keep coming to the conclusion that the GPU is barely being utilized properly by Roblox, even though the game should be able to utilize the GPU well in more demanding Roblox games.
- Additionally, CPU usage remains very low compared to friends of mine during gameplay (10%-20% vs 55%-80% in Task Manager; he didn’t optimize anything), which further hints at inefficiencies in how Roblox interacts with my system. I tried almost every simple fix like upgrading/degrading anything, deleting Roblox, and even doing a factory reset, but the issue keeps occurring. The friend of mine who gets far more CPU usage on Task Manager runs an RTX 3060 and an i5-12400F, which my system should be able to match evenly, and it does in some other games. However, in Roblox, he simply gets more than triple my CPU usage no matter what I do, which sets his FPS to above 200 average, regardless of what's happening in the server.
Just to mention, I have been a top EU esports player in Blox Fruits, I have upgraded my GTX 1660 Super to an Arc A750, because I have seen the A750 beat the 1660 Super at basically every game and it is frustrating to see significantly lower-end systems outperform mine, especially when using hardware that should be capable of achieving better FPS. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue, especially if there are any optimizations or driver fixes that could help (Roblox) Blox Fruits perform better on my Intel Arc A750.
I have far more details to give, so please let me know if you need any more details or logs to help troubleshoot the issue.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Moaad

Hi, Brampa_.
Thank you for posting in our Community.
From what you've shared, it seems like Roblox (particularly Blox Fruits) isn't fully utilizing your system's potential, which is causing the low FPS compared to your friends' systems.
You mentioned that you've already tried performing a factory reset and downgrading Windows. I suspect the issue might be related to an outdated graphics driver. Could you please provide the exact version of your graphics driver? While knowing your GPU and CPU is helpful, I’d need more details about your system configuration. Could you run the Intel SSU report and share the results with me? This will allow me to check important information such as the OS build, driver version, and any logged errors at the system level.
Have a nice day!

Hello, Brampa_.
Thanks for sharing the SSU test results and the graphics driver. I noticed that the Intel Arc A750 Graphics is up to date. Just to confirm, when playing Roblox on low settings, what’s the typical FPS range? Would it be around 21-30 FPS (just an estimate)? And on high settings, does it reach around 40 FPS, with low and medium settings hitting 60 FPS? I’m a bit unclear on the FPS ranges across low, medium, and high settings.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,

It's abit weird since FPS usually doesn't really change when you adjust graphics in Roblox while having a sufficent GPU, let me explain. If I turn my graphics to the lowest, Roblox will adjust my GPU usage (CTRL+F7) to around 0.50MS, however if I tune my graphics to max, it'll use my GPU more, around 4.0 MS, so my FPS usually stays the same no matter what my graphics settings are. I have tried an external Roblox plug-in (Bloxstrap) which can heavily reduce some graphics, that exceeds Roblox's grapics adjustment, but it just tuned my GPU usage down even more. There is another way my FPS changes though, which is "situation", and it matters a lot. In a private server (alone in the game) I am still able to get around 120-150 FPS (standing still, its low but better than the rest), and 90-120 FPS while being active. In a private server with 1 other player (a 1v1), I stick around 60-90 FPS being active. In public servers while standing still, it rarely reaches 100 FPS, (70-90) but when I start to move around, use moves, fight players, I instantly drop to 50-70 FPS, and if I fight multiple people, which is common in that game (it's called a war), I get around 20-40 FPS. The usual FPS I should be getting if I look at my friends similair or even weaker PC build than mine, (rtx 3060, i5-12400F) I should be 240 FPS constant in a private server (even if there is 1 player or a few more. The max server size is 12 btw.) and around 144+ in public servers, my friend never even drops below 140 FPS no matter what he does. I hope this gave some more details, please let me know if I should respond with more details again. Also, my timezone is GMT+1 so when you reply it's usually midnight for me, which causes my late reaction.
Best regards,
Brampa

Hello, Brampa_.
Thanks for the detailed explanation, that really helps clarify the situation. I can see you're experiencing some unusual behavior given your hardware, especially since your friend’s system (with similar or even slightly weaker specs) performs better.
Given the circumstances, let's try other troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the FPS issue in your Roblox game.
- Make sure Re BAR is enabled
- Disable iGPU to make sure Intel® Arc™ A750 Graphics (16GB) is being used as primary graphics
If the issue is still the same, could you please provide CapFrameX data for this game? This will allow us to analyze performance metrics in more detail and identify any potential issues. Ideally, please share a CapFrameX file that includes at least 5 minutes of gameplay.

Hello Von,
Here is the CapframeX data you requested, (Private server 1v1 gameplay). Let me know if I should provide with more details or provide with Public server gameplay. I cant attach JSON files here so I put it in a Google Drive document.
