Screen flicker OLED Lenovo X1 1st gen Intel HD520

Hi, i have a lenovo X1 carbon 1st edition with a OLED touchscreen. It has the intel HD 520 graphics chipset which out of support.

Its now out of warranty but has been back to lenovo twice in the last 3 years with screen flicker issues. It's now back again.

I surely cant be hardware, its had a new screen, cables, PCB, motherboard etc more than once!

I've tried most things online but wanted to give the forum a go before i buy something new.

Turning the brightness up seemed to solve it, but eventually even that doesn't work.

Panel screen refresh off - hasn't solved it

Changing panel res hasn't solved it

Most up to date driver from intel hasn't solved it
