Hi,
I have downloaded and updated my latest graphic drivers for intel HD4600. from here:https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29804/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=81496
Driver version: intelgraphic_win64_15.40.46.5144.zip [18/08/20].
My processor: intel i7-4790
Mother Board: gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H
RAM: 8GB DDR3
No dedicated graphic card.
But it does not support Vulkan and gives error on game for unsupported Driver/hardware. See attachment 2.JPG.
I have also watched intel video for where to find API info and it seems in that information center it also not shows any Vulkan supported version. Please see attachment 1.JPG.
Game i am using: hyper-scape
Source: https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/game/hyper-scape
Please note i am already playing very graphic intensive games smoothly at lower HD resolution. And i believe My processor can handle this Hyper-scape game too.
Kindly help.
Thank You.

Sorry, but Vulkan is not supported by HD4600. Look under "Intel Core Processors" here:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005524/graphics.html
Also note from that same page "OpenGL*, OpenCL*, and Vulkan* drivers must be installed separately, and are only distributed with the game or application that requires it." Perhaps you can check with your game manufacturer.

Thank You for fast reply,
I know that its not supported, That's why i asked for the support in new release.
Intel 4th Gen i7-4790 and i7-4790k was (and in India still) most popular for high end gaming and multimedia support. And Its just 4.5Years i've purchased this High end TOP LINEUP Intel CPU with almost double the cost of budget in a hope that it will run longer like older core 2 due series.
What i am pointing out it is that Intel should take care of ATLEAST their high end top lineup products, because it will be useless and very sad to see unusable powerful cpu. And Support for Vulkan is there for new 6th to 10th gen only, it means its not intel's limitations.
As per hardware specification intel iGPU is clocked at 1.2GHZ with 2GB shared Vram. So its not that limited to hardware either.
So technically if it was hardware limitation then i can understand, but For Software limitation, it is hard to accept.
one other interesting thing that even some Intel developer software for scientific computing is also supports only 6th to 10th gen CPUs!!!!!
So whats the purpose of this CPU?
And saddest part of this journey is that i cant upgrade my CPU either, because each new gen cpu has new socket and so it requires new compatible motherboard and ram too!!!!!!
This message is for official intel developers.
I hope There will be some useful outcome of this message.
Thank You.
