I'm experiencing an issue with my laptop after it recently overheated. After that, I noticed that both my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options have completely disappeared from my system.
Issue Description:
After my laptop overheats, I'm disconnected and no longer find the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth options in the Network & Internet settings.
The icons for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are missing from the taskbar.
In Device Manager, the network adapters for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth show code 43 or code 10 with a caution mark
Everything seems to work normally after I shutdown and let my system cool down and restart but happens again when the system heats up.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
I have restarted the PC multiple times.
Tried running the Network Troubleshooter and Bluetooth Troubleshooter, but both didn't help.
Checked for any pending Windows updates and installed them.
Attempted to reinstall the network drivers
Tried Ping in PowerShell and it responds back.
Additional Details:
The overheat incident happened while I was running a resource-intensive application.
There were no prior issues with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity before the overheating.
Other functions and hardware components seem to be working fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance for your help!
