I am owning a Lenovo ThinkPad T440p with Intel HD Graphics 4600.
I am on Windows 10 x64 Creators Update (Version 1703, OS Build 15063.332), see screenshot.
When you activate Hyper-V, multiple fake monitors are recognized:
I am using the latest Driver from Intel:
See DxDiag attached (DxDiag_NOT_Working.zip)
I found already some existing threads, decribing the same problem:
With this driver, everything is working fine:
See DxDiag attached (DxDiag_working_driver.zip)
For rolling back to this old driver, see my blog post (in german, use a translator if necessary):

Will this problem ever be fixed?

Hello TomTomNavigator,
I understand that if you enable Hyper-V you get multiple fake monitors.
Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.
This issue is currently under investigation. As soon as we have any information available it will be posted on this other Community thread /message/479886 https://communities.intel.com/message/479886
The workaround available at the moment would be to keep using driver version 20.19.15.4300.
Regards,
Fred D.

Hello DLGross,
I am sorry to hear you are having the same issue with multiple fake monitors when Hyper-V is enabled.
The fix is scheduled to be included in the next 15.40 driver release, but there is no ETA yet. As soon as we have any information available it will be posted on this other Community thread /message/479886 https://communities.intel.com/message/479886

Thanks for the response. Can you clarify what is meant by "the next 15.40 driver release". When I look at the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel, I see a 20.19.15.4531 Driver Version. I would expect the fix to be in driver with a higher number than what I already have.
