im trying to install a generic driver(yes ik the risks), over their outdated custom driver, using the 'have disk' method listed http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-029635.htm here .
however, when i attempt to install the driver i get the message "windows has determined the driver software for your device is already up to datE" even though its not...
zip file i used http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=17408&ProdId=2800&lang=eng Download Center
im running win vista home premium 32bit with the mobile intel 965 express chipset family
