qstat -xf job# output is unreadable

If I do "qstat -xf my_job_number" I get unreadable output. It appears to be JSON or some XML formatted output. In most clusters I have worked in the output is human readable with line breaks and tabs.

Hi,

Thanks for posting in Intel Communities.

We were able to replicate this from our end. Can you try checking the job status using the following command without the -x option:

qstat -f job# | grep exec

(Replace job# with the Job ID)

You can read more about this here: https://devcloud.intel.com/oneapi/documentation/advanced-queue/

If this resolves your issue, make sure to accept this as a solution. This would help others with a similar issue.

Thank You!

Regards,
