DSP Builder License Activation

I want to activate my DSP Builder License using the Hardware disk serial number, but in the activation process, there is no “Hardware disk serial number” option, so I am confused.

CAN I activate my license on Hardware disk, or I must activate the license using the NIC ID method?

Hi,

Yes, only NIC ID or Guard ID.

Thanks,

Hi,

Thank you for you explain.

As far as I know, once the License is bound, it can't be replaced. Right now, our existing computers are too old to need updating, so the NIC method shouldn't be suitable for us. Is there any good suggestion for this License binding?

If we use the Guard ID method,  can I use the DSP Builder in the new PC, and is the "USB dongle " for sale?

Thank you!

Hi,

Yup, if use guard id you can reuse the DSP Builder license in New PC. You may rehost it check link https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683472/23-1/rehosting-all-licenses-from-current.html

For "USB dongle " , you may need to consult the distributor site https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/partner/showcase/partner-directory/distributor.html#sort=relevancy

Thanks,

Sheng

Hi,

I don't have any questions right now, and I will try rehost and use the dongle first.
