I know this has been discussed earlier. I followed all previous discussions on the community. Nothing helped.

When I launch Questa, it gives me the following error:

I installed the following Quartus :

I can launch Quartus.

I generated a fixed License. I can send you the license through private chat or email.

I installed the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Microsoft Visual Studio 2017. I set the LM_LICENSE_FILE variable value. I also followed the following threads:

But nothing seems to be working. I have also re-installed the whole software multiple times. Nothing is working.

Any suggestions for me?

I'm pleased to hear that you were able to resolve your issue.

For your information, it's worth noting that Questa Intel FPGA Edition versions prior to 22.4 did not automatically install the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013. This was the cause of the 'MSVCR120.dll was not found' error message in the past.

Since the issue has been resolved, I will transition this thread to community support. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you and have a great day!

Best Regards,

Richard Tan
