Hi Team,
we have license for quartus tool, we are using the license for quartus 22.1 version .
now we are trying to use quartus 18.0 version to check one design, but 18.0 is throwing one warning for license
Could u please help us to resolve this license issue?

May I know if your license is compatible with 18.0 version?
If yes, then you may need to check if the license file format is correct as there might have differences between the newer and older license formats.

yes, license is working for 18.0 in client site network.
license is not accepting for 18.0 in our network.

Hi,
It means it was no issue with the license incompatibility since it is working in your client site network. What I can think of is your network port issues: If the firewall blocks certain ports, the server may not be able to serve the license to the client.
Please ensure that necessary firewall ports are open to allow you to connect to the server.

Hi Aqid,
I have a doubt here, we are using Quartus version 22.1 as well, in that we are able to contact the license server. In that same pc we installed version 18.0 but now we can't be able to connect/contact the license server, that's why our IT team is not suspecting the License server and its ports as well. Also, we have checked no ports are blocked and allowed all from our PC.

Do you mean that you can't use the software at all after you install the 18.0 version on the same computer or the software can't open in 18.0 but it can open in the 22.1 version?
