There is a CSCO_TPC MDS9000 series switch somewhere in SAN which is visible to my host.
In Device Manager under Computer Management, we see TPC device under category 'OTHER DEVICES'
I need to find the scsi portNo, Bus No, targetID and LUN number for TPC device without using any windows registry functions.
In setup API's, the GUID 'GUID_DEVCLASS_TAPEDRIVE' represents tapes and 'GUID_DEVCLASS_DISKDRIVE' represents physical drives.
Is there a GUID Class corresponding to Cisco Switch (or any TPC Device) ?
Can we not use any other mechanism to find the TPC device?
Even by using the StoragePortClassGuid, I am not able to extract the TPC device info.
The SNIA HBA APIs doesnt list out the device name.
Waiting for suggestions.
Thank you
