How similar SOC ARM part of Stratix 10 and Cyclone 5 FPGAs? My end goal is to develop SOC/ARM part of the design on Cyclone 5 FPGA then upgrade the part to Stratix 10 AX SOC board. Is Cyclone 5 SOC FPGA fundamentally different than Stratix 10 AX SOC FPGAs. I haven't seen any other low cost SOC/ARM based FPGA board like Cyclone 5 SOC board from Intel. But Cyclone 5 SOC board is pretty old version of Intel Altera FPGAs. In Cyclone 10 LP and GX FPGAs, there is no ARM processor. Am I missing something? Looks like Intel Altera no longer supports any low cost ARM based SOC FPGA.

Hi
The Stratix10 (Cortex-A53) and Cyclone5 (Cortex*-A9 )uses two different ARM Processor.
Provided the FPGA configurations are similar.
It is possible to recompile your application created in Cyclone5 to be use in Stratix10.
For this you will need to use a different SDK to recompile the application.
