Hi,

I am investigating the DSA usage scenarios and I see MPI support the DSA but I can't find any information to introduce how to enable DSA and what's the performance improvement w/ DSA.

Really appreciate for any help.

Thanks a lot and best regareds,
Dennis Wu

Intel® MPI Library 2021 Update 8

  • Intel® MPI library provides initial support for the Intel® Data Center GPU MAX Series (formerly code-named Ponte Vecchio) utilizing XE Link for direct GPU to GPU communications
  • Intel® MPI Library speeds cluster application performance by utilizing the new embedded Data Streaming Accelerator in 4th Generation Xeon Scalable Processors (formerly code-named Sapphire Rapids).
  • Intel® MPI Library 2021.8 has implemented performance optimizations for Intel GPUs and Intel® Xeon® CPU Max Series.
  • Bug fixes.

I have enabled the DSA and got the raw performance with https://github.com/intel/dsa-perf-micros . As the release note, the IntelMPI support the DSA, I would like to make the IntelMPI work with DSA and without DSA, then I would like to know how the DSA improvement the performance of IntelMPI.

If you already have some document for the environment setup, performance data w DSA vs W/o DSA, please share me.

Thank you
