Fail to install driver USB Blaster is not Recognize in Device Manager (Unknown USB Device)

Hi,
I have successfully installed the Quartus Pro Edition 19.1 software and have also successfully created and compiled the program. But when I connect the FPGA Kit (S1X280HU2F50E1VG) to the computer and try to download the program to the Stratix 10 FPGA Kit, but on the IDE there is no USB Blaster II hard ware displayed. Then, I checked in Device Manager on Windows and saw the error USB Blaster is not Recognize in Device Manager (Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). I tried to follow the steps in the datasheet of FPGA Kit (installed patch according to the instruction link https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/programmable/articles/000074130.html) but cannot fix the above error. Would you kindly let me know the issue and guide me to fix.
Thank you in advanced.

Did you install the standalone Programmer like it mentions at the bottom of that article?  I vaguely remember having this issue as well and the patch did indeed fix it.

Or you could move to a newer version of Quartus.

Hi,

Have you try sstrell suggestions? Also, can you please try to use newest Quartus version.

If you have another USB blaster, please try to connect using another USB blaster.

Regards,

Aiman
