Segment Violation when launching Quartus Web Edition 13.0sp1 on Ubuntu 22.04

Hello,

I’m encountering a segment violation error when launching Quartus 13.0sp1 on Ubuntu 22.04 with a user whose home directory is mounted via NFS. The error message are as follows:

However, when I launch it with a local user, it works fine. Do you have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Quartus 13.0sp1 does not officially supported in Ubuntu 22.04.

Could you try to install the software in the supported OS and see if the issue persists?

You can check the readme.txt file in the Quartus installation directory to check the list of supported OS.

Additionally, you could check your system resources, including memory, CPU usage, and disk space. Make sure you have enough available resources to run Quartus. Try to provide administrator access to run Quartus.
