creating and encrypted netlist

I need to create an encrypted netlist for an Altera FPGA using Quartus. The process I've used in the past does not appear to work any more. How is this done now? I would appreciate a quick response

May I know whether you are using Quartus Pro or Quartus Std edition?

  I was using and had just downloaded and installed Quartus Prime Pro 24.2.  The last time I was able to do this successfully would have been 2019.  I would have used whichever was the latest version of Quartus at the time.

If you are using Quartus Pro edition, can you use IEEE encryption per mention here https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683102/21-3/support-for-the-ieee-1735-encryption.html?

not yet - I need to work through this process to see if will be acceptable.

 

and while I'm sending this email, I thought I'd let you know that not being able to reply to your email is REALLY annoying.  If you're gonna send me an email, I should be able to reply to it.
