bsp-create-settings.exe fails with "ImportError: cannot import name 'expatbuilder' from 'xml.dom'"

Hi all,

I'm trying to generate the handoff files using bsp-create-settings.exe as explained here:

https://github.com/altera-opensource/u-boot-socfpga/blob/socfpga_v2021.07/doc/README.socfpga

But it fails with python not finding the correct libraries.

This is using SoCEDS 20.1.

If I run this in a Linux machine, a secondary unit, this works OK.

Windows:

Happy to provide more information.

Thanks in advance!

Alberto

Thanks for your reply Aik,

Would that workflow be ok vor Cyclone-V? I'm running on a Cyclone V platform.

I was able to run the script as well on a WSL2 environment in a Windows machine, so I have a workaround at the moment.

Cheers,

Alberto

Hi Alberto_F,

There is a link inside inside the link provided in my previous comment for CycloneV:
