Intel unison used to work but doesn’t anymore with my iPhone & windows 11 desktop

Hi.
Today it's 8/28/2024.
 
My iPhone SE has the latest OS release and so does my windows 11 desktop but I cannot get a message across from one to the other. I’ve tried to send a message both ways 
 
On my iPhone when I choose General and then select about, the name is iPhone 
 
When I look at Bluetooth on my iPhone it says my devices is DESKTOP-BJI1NH1 and it says connected.
 
On my windows 11 desktop when I go into Bluetooth and devices it says:
  • Bluetooth is enabled and it says Discoverable as DESKTOP-BJI1NH1
  • It has a picture of a phone on top with the name iPhone and it says connected 
So why is messaging not working. It used to work

To better assist you and determine the most appropriate resolution, could you please provide the needed details listed below:


  1. Have you tried uninstalling and installing the Unison App?
  2. Do you encounter any error messages?
  3. Have you already tried updating the Wireless and Bluetooth drivers of your desktop?

Hi Earl, sometimes it seems to lose the Bluetooth connection from my windows 11 64-bit desktop completely updated to my iPhone SE also completely updated. No matter what I do sometimes I can’t restore connectivity. When this happens I clean out all browsing data except for passwords on the desktop and iPhone, then I completely shutdown both devices, then I restart both device, and for some reason doing this seems to work and connectivity to unison for messaging between my iPhone and desktop works again

Kindly answer the additional questions:

  • Does this issue with Bluetooth and the Unison app happen consistently after a certain period, or does it seem random?
  • Have you noticed any patterns in when the connection drops?
  • When the Bluetooth connection is lost, are you able to reconnect it manually without restarting the devices, or does it only work after the steps you've mentioned?

Kindly answer the additional questions.

Does this issue with Bluetooth and the Unison app happen consistently after a certain period, or does it seem random?

Recently, everything is working well. Why? I haven't any idea but I am using Intel's latest bluetooth driver release since about a week ago.

 

Have you noticed any patterns in when the connection drops?

I never noticed any patterns when this issue was occurring.

 

When the Bluetooth connection is lost, are you able to reconnect it manually without restarting the devices, or does it only work after the steps you've mentioned?

Recently, I have been able to reconnect successfully about all the time. It's been real good and I am happy that it's finally working well. My windows 11  desktop is completely up to date with a latest drivers, fixes, etc. The same is true with my Iphone now on IOS 18.
