Hi, frandoer.

Thank you for posting in our Intel communities.

Intel® Unison™ App allows for swift and convenient access to your phone or tablet's photo gallery, enabling you to organize, remove, and transfer your desired photos straight to your computer. You may refer to this link: Intel Unison App, for more information. As such, could you please clarify what you mean about changing the default photo editor when you click to open?

Moreover, I do not have sufficient details about your hardware and software configuration to help you. Please run the SSU report so I can check important details such as OS build#, Graphics, wireless driver versions, errors logged in the system, etc).

Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day ahead!

Yes, you can change the default photo editor on your device. Here's how you can do it on different platforms:

  1. Windows: Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps. Scroll down to "Photo viewer" and select the app you want to use as the default photo editor.

  2. Mac: Right-click on any image file and select "Get Info." In the "Open with" section, choose the desired photo editor from the dropdown menu, then click "Change All."

  3. Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Default apps selection. Choose the category "Opening links" and select your preferred photo editor.

  4. iOS: Unfortunately, iOS does not allow you to change the default photo editor system-wide. However, you can open images directly in your preferred editing app and make edits from there.
