Hi, are there currently any plans to add DPC++ to the Arch repositories, and if not, where can I find the source code to make a PKGBUILD?

Hi,
As far as we are concerned, currently there are no plans to add DPC++ to the Arch repositories.
As you know DPC++ is a part of Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit, which does not support Arch Linux distributions.
However, users tried to use DPC++ and oneAPI with Arch Linux.
Please, see comments in this thread as they may help you:
https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-oneAPI-Base-Toolkit/Intel-OneAPI-on-Arch-Linux/td-p/1188296
The ones I would recommend to pay attention to are:
User RN1: "I am using it, although the CPU is not working - I don't know why.
You can install by executing the .bin and then just configuring from bash the setvars.sh, PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH."
User siquus: "dpc++ worked out of the box for me on Arch
CPU: i7-1165G7
intel-compute-runtime 20.48.18558-1 (pacman)
l_BaseKit_p_2021.1.0.2659 (intel online installer)
non-sudo install to ~/intel/
. /path/intel/oneapi/setvars.h"
To use DPC++ you will need Intel® oneAPI DPC++/C++ Compiler, which you can get with Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit.
Please also see Intel Github Project for LLVM technology, which also contains oneAPI DPC++/C++ Compiler.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Khalik.

Hi Khalik, would it be possible to speak with one of the developers who works on OneAPI? I feel like they might be able to understand some of my questions better.

Hi,
I have not heard back from you, so I will go ahead and close this thread from my end. Intel will no longer monitor this thread. Feel free to post a new query if you require further assistance from Intel.
Thanks,
Khalik.
