Hello Steven_Ca,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In regards to your AMT configuration, it looks okay; however, you need to bear in mind that mesh commander is a third-party option for having remote access to endpoints and is no longer a validated one since the support for it is no longer being given by their developers, you can find more information on it below.

https://www.meshcommander.com/meshcommander

Additionally, the Intel manageability commander (IMC) is still supported but not as actively supported and updated as our Intel® Endpoint Management Assistant (Intel® EMA), which is our most current, actively supported, and continuously updated tool; therefore, with more current AMT versions you will encounter a problem if you use IMC.

You can find all the information on how to use EMA in the links below, just bear in mind that EMA is more of an enterprise option than the ones previously mentioned.

In case you don’t think EMA is the right fit for your project we would recommend looking for a different tool to handle the remote access part of your endpoint(s) and that is fully compatible with AMT.

I experience below issue when I install EMA. I want to install all server role into one server. I tried installation three times, every time it stuck at last step.

I attached installation events text file.

Expecting suggestion from experts to solve the issue or is there other tools can remote control via AMT?

Hello Steven_Ca,

Thank you for your response.

There are other tools out there that are compatible with AMT and that can help you remotely access the endpoints; however, these are 3rd party tools and we don’t have a list of them since we don’t endorse these other manufacturers; however, you are welcome to do some research on your own and if you find a tool that works for you our recommendation will be to get in touch with the support for that specific tool.

In regards to the problem you got with EMA, we haven’t had any isues related to the installation like the one that you are having, but our recommendation will be to check the guide below and check out all the prerequisites needed in order to install EMA, after that make sure you are following each step on the guide all the way to the end in order to complete the installation successfully.
