On any computer (OS: windows), how do i know how many HW Decoder can I use?

Hi all,

I use Intel (R) _Media_SDK_2016.0.2 to build a hardware streaming decoder.

I found that the use of the same resolution of the image stream, the number of decoders can be established on different computers is not the same.

Does the SDK provide APIs to detect this situation?

Please help me.

Yes, difference platform has difference performance because its configuration.  and no such MSDK API to detect the performance,  MSDK sample_muti_transcode  with -par parameter is a good tool to help you do the performance test.  https://software.intel.com/en-us/media-sdk/documentation/code-samples
