Hi,
Can I transcode (that is, replace the container without reencoding the contents) AVI files into MP4 files and vice versa using Intel Media SDK?
Thanks,
Ury

Hi Ury,
Container processing is outside ofMedia SDK's scope. As you can see from the manual and developer's guide it isdesigned for video elementary stream transcoding tasks (decoding, frame processing, and encoding), but if all you need to do is replace the container you will need to use a different approach. Hopefully Media SDK can fit into your container processing frameworkif yourneeds expand to working with videoelementary streams.
Regards,
Jeff

Thanks Jeff.
Container processing is not *all* I need, but it's one of the requirements I need to address.
