Dear All,
I'm triyng to connect a second EPCS device to store the code and loader for a second NIOSII cpu in my qsys system. I assumed that the second EPCS could be added to my CIII so I could set the reset vector of the second cpu to its epcs controller ooffset. My question is, can Anybody confirm me that I can add this second EPCS to my CIII FPGA and connect to the related epcs controller? I believe I can connect the 2nd EPCS to any pin, pls confirm. I would appreciate any comments from you. Thanks a lot.Link Copied

Yes, this sounds perfectly reasonable. I have connected two EPCS devices before - albeit to a Cyclone IV - and can connect each independently. My second device was for general storage. So, I have not booted a Nios from it, but I don't see any reason why you can't.
Yes, you can connect the second EPCS to 'any' pin - within reason. Cheers, Alex
