Nios II Console font

The jtag uart is displayed on the "Nios II Console".

Can the font be changed?

The Eclipse's Windows->Preferences->General->Apperance->Color and Fonts does not change it in any option.

Is there a way to change it manually in Eclipse's ".metadata" ?

I have found an excellent alternative.

I am using nios2eds\bin\nios2-terminal.exe instead.

It is called from within nios2eds\Nios II Command Shell.bat.

It works like a real Terminal.

It sends any key stroke without the need for 'carriage return'.

It even accepts 'Escape' key.
