Bios Intel default setting

Hello! I recently updated the BIOS on my AORUS Pro X Wi-Fi 7 motherboard, which I’m using with an Intel i9-14900K CPU. After the update, I noticed a new BIOS setting labeled “Intel Default Settings Enabled to Extreme.” From what I understand, enabling this option could potentially extend the CPU’s lifespan, and I’d like some clarification from Intel on this.

My main concern is with the core voltage. While idle, the voltage is around 1.3V most of the time. During benchmarks or stress tests, it typically stays between 1.3V and 1.4V and doesn’t exceed 1.5V. (For context, I’m using the “Best Performance” power plan in Windows.)

I’ve run several stress tests, and temperatures remain stable, staying around 75°C. Since I’ve only had the CPU for about a month, I’m interested in any insights on whether these voltage levels are safe and how to check for any early signs of CPU degradation. Thank you!
