Hi.

Is it possible that the lot # on package label and on top mark of this device do not match? I attach pisture for your reference.

Are the damaged edge as seen on the pictures attached acceptable?

Thanks,

Ireen

Hello @AiReyes

Thank you for your reply.

Based on our comprehensive investigation, we've identified valuable insights that can enhance your understanding of this product and facilitate the quest for a solution.

It's important to note that Intel exclusively offers direct customer support for Thunderbolt on NUCs. Consequently, for your current scenario, exploring assistance through the following avenues would be advisable:

·      If you need documentation, complete this application

·      For further questions, you may also contact us at: Thunderboltadmin@intel.com

Additionally, it's crucial to remain vigilant regarding the status of this product, as it has been officially discontinued and has reached the "End of Support" phase. This implies that Intel ceased all forms of assistance for this product as of January 29, 2022, as you can see here.

With that being said, we will proceed to close this thread, we hope this information will help you get the proper support you need.

Best regards,

Thanks Isaac.

But generally, lets say on other products, not un thunderbolt alone, is this normal that there are mixed lot #'s marked on the devices contained in 1 reel, and those mot #s didn't match the packaging label?  Other manufacturers with which we had the same problem said it's normal so we consider the parts acceptable as it reached our facility.  At Intel which we've just encountered now, is it OK too?

Just a follow up question on this case, is it normal that there are mixed lot #'s marked on the devices contained in 1 reel, and those #s didn't match the lot number specified on the packaging label?  Other manufacturers with which we had the same problem said it's normal so we consider the parts acceptable as it reached our facility.  At Intel which we've just encountered now, is it OK too? I am asking in general, not on thunderbolt products alone.
