Intel Trusted Execution Technology enable or not

Hello!
I have a laptop with i5 12600H processor, when i looked up at BIOS, there's an option to turn on Intel Trusted Execution Technology. should i enable it or just leave it disabled? (I'm just a normal user and not in any business). I also saw the description if it's enabled it would need a full restart, what does ot mean?

If your system contains valuable data, files, or information, it is advisable to enable this security feature. However, as you mentioned that you are a regular user and not operating within a business context, the decision to enable or disable this feature ultimately rests with you.

Is there any downside by enabling this feature? like performance loss?
And also if it enabled will my laptop safe from malware attacks and ransomware encryption?
