Intel's Unacceptable RMA Process – Beyond Frustrated

I am reaching out here because I am incredibly frustrated with Intel’s RMA process and their lack of support. It’s been SIX days since they assured me of receiving a call in 1-2 business days. This ordeal has stretched on for over a month and a half for an issue that should’ve been resolved quickly and easily.

The problem with my processor isn’t unique; it’s a known issue with Intel’s 13th and 14th gen processors. My computer has been out of commission for almost TWO MONTHS because of this, which has caused me significant inconvenience and financial loss.

To make matters worse, Intel informed me that it would take weeks to restock my i9-14900K and offered me either an i9-13900KS or $600 instead. When I opted for the $600, they suddenly claimed to have my original CPU in stock. What kind of BS is that?

Three weeks ago, someone from Intel was supposed to call me, but I never received a call. The RMA process has been a nightmare. Despite being a top-tier product, the support I’ve received is worse than expected. I’m at my wit’s end. I had high expectations for Intel's RMA process to be efficient and smooth, but this experience has been nothing short of infuriating.

Days go by with no updates, no clear information on the status of my replacement, and no communication from Intel's support team. This is unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I have even considered taking the loss, not dealing with Intel any longer, and switching to AMD permanently.

It has been 42 days since I first opened a ticket for my CPU. Unacceptable. Stanley B, Melanie H, and Sean D, you all need to be fired. 

Someone competent better reach out or I will never purchase another Intel product again, and my family has been a fan of Intel since the Pentium P1.

Appears you are not alone, i have also not received any updates on my RMA situation for 3 weeks now after i was told courier would pick it up.

 

I guess they have so many RMA requests going on they are overworked, but i hope they get things soon on track.

Update:

Still no reply on my ticket, no calls from an agent to get a replacement.
