Good day. I have an i5-13600KF. What profile should I choose in the bios? Intel Default, Intel Performance, or Intel Extreme? What should be the value of PL1, PL2? - 125, 181, 253, 288? Current limit - 200, 307, 400 or 512?

Many motherboards will default to "AUTO" for settings like PL1, PL2 and the Current Limit. The actual values may be shown in the BIOS. For an i5-13600K at Intel Default settings I would expect PL2 to be 181w and PL1 125w, with a Current Limit of around 200. PL1 and PL2 are power limits not power settings, increasing them to higher values won't necessarily improve CPU performance.

Performance or Extreme settings will involve higher PL1 and PL2, and an increased current limit. This may result in much higher CPU temperatures so cooling will be a factor. Try the Intel Default settings first and see how performance is with your normal applications such as gaming.

Intel does not specify the Current Limit for individual models anywhere. Asus gives a value of 512A, but the maximum should be 400A. What are the specifications of Intel Default, performance, extreme?
What should be changed in the bios to meet the Intel Default requirements?
