Hello, I am using an intel Core i5-13400F (C0-Stepping / SSPEC: SRMBN).
I recently became aware of the Vmin Shift Instability issue. Unfortunately, various forum posts do not provide proper clarification. In August there was a statement that the Core i5 13th and 14th (Non-K Verson) was NOT affected.
My question is: Is the processor i5 13400F affected by the problems ? According to my research, I have a processor based on the Alder-Lake achitecture.
my BIOS was updated to the latest Version 1663 (ASUS TUF Gaming B760Plus WiFi), by the Computer manufacturer and has got the Microcode 0x35. I dont have any problems so far
I ask for clarification ! Thank you all

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback! That's good news. You read different things about it all over the internet.
However, I wonder why my microcode remains the same after the BIOS update (0x35) ?

As CPU-Z shows your 13400F is based on Alder Lake technology with the 0x35 microcode which is the correct one for this particular CPU. The recent series of BIOS microcode updates only install to the 13th and 14th gen K processors such as the 13600K.
As well as the BIOS updates ASUS released a number of new drivers, all dated September 2024. The most important of these are Intel Chipset driver v10.1.19913.8607 and Intel Management Engine Interface v2428.6.2.0. ASUS say both of them are to Improve system stability. I would recommend you install these drivers if you have not already done so.

Your processor is not affected by Vmin Stability issues. The latest bios for your processor is 0x36, which solves the issue
INTEL-SA-01071 and INTEL-SA-01097
Get new bios via asus zentalk forum.
I am using a Gigabyte B760M DS3H AX ddr5 motherboard, i got the latest BIOS from support sending request.
Moreover, the latest Intel ME firmware is 16.1.32.2473 , and the Intel ME firmware interface is 2428.6.2.0

Every ASUS motherboard has a dedicated support page from which BIOS updates and driver updates can be downloaded. For the TUF GAMING B760 PLUS WIFI it can be found here.

ASUS is still on microcode 0x35 for the desktop. There are some mobile users with processors such as the 13700HX that have a 0x36 microcode. Intel has that it is releasing UEFI firmware updates to mitigate these potential vulnerabilities. I have no doubt that ASUS will issue these to its users once they are available.

ASUS include Intel ME firmware updates with the BIOS update. A recent BIOS update will mean that either the latest or a very recent ME firmware update will be present. ME Firmware version numbers vary between board manufacturers, for this motherboard the latest firmware is 16.1.30.2307.

Zentalk forum for phones, laptops, motherboards too. I am member of asus zentalk forum from 2018 onwards
Once question posted in the forum, asus_moderator will answer, if possible, they will provide bios via private chat.
Moreover gigabyte do not include Intel Me firmware in BIOS. Users need to download manually and flash firmware to processor.
