Problem with intel i7 4790 and ASUS H87M-Plus

Hi.

I have a problem with my i7 4790 processor, and put the update coming out on the website of Asus, which is the 0804, version 2107, but put through the BIOS EZ Flash, and recommendation says to do it with the program they have, is that the problem that the processor does not show video?

Before I had a intel 4430, and I had no problem with my mother board.

Is the BIOS update that led the cpu that is next to the power button does not turn?

Sorry for my english, i speak in spanish and not much english.

Help please.

Hi Ditonic.

The I7-4790 and the I5- 4430 have different architectures. The Asus H87M-Plus would need the Bios update in order to be able to use the I7-4790. You need to contact ASUS directly and consult with them the BIOS update procedure.
